Melissa Woo

Melissa Woo, Ph.D., is the executive vice president for administration, providing leadership for enterprise-wide administrative services, including University Infrastructure planning and facilities, human resources, information technology, procurement & logistics, and sustainability. Additionally, Melissa serves as MSU’s chief information officer and as president of the MSU Research Foundation. Throughout her career, and since originally joining MSU in 2019 as senior vice president for information technology and chief information officer, Melissa has proven herself as a skilled administrator of large, complex units with a keen ability to refine cross-organizational synergies.
