Spartans Supporting Spartans: Join the Campuswide Food Drive

Michigan State University is coming together to support our community through a campuswide food drive. In partnership with the MSU Food Bank and Basic Needs Program, EVPA units are joining forces to combat food insecurity and uphold our shared commitment to social responsibility. Anybody can donate!

How You Can Help
EVPA employees and members of the MSU community are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items at any of the collection locations across campus. Every contribution—big or small—makes a difference for Spartans and neighbors in need.

Access Support
If you or someone you know is experiencing food insecurity, resources like the MSU Food Bank and the Spartan Shelf are available to provide assistance. These programs exist to ensure every Spartan has access to the essentials they need to thrive. Find out your eligibility

A Community Effort
In 2024, the MSU Food Bank, in partnership with the Greater Lansing Food Bank, served more than 16,000 Spartans and community members. With the holiday season approaching—and in light of the recent pause in SNAP benefits—our collective support matters more than ever.

Together, we can make a meaningful impact as Spartans Supporting Spartans.
