Meet the Executive Vice President for Administration

Vennie Gore serves as Executive Vice President for Administration at Michigan State University, a role he assumed in March 2025. A seasoned leader with a strong commitment to operational excellence and inclusive processes, Vennie oversees the university’s central administrative units, including: 
Oversight of the Department of Police and Public Safety and University Trademarks and Licensing is shared with MSU President Kevin Guskiewicz.

With more than two decades of leadership experience in higher education, Vennie has played a pivotal role in shaping the university’s strategic vision and fostering an environment that prioritizes student success and institutional excellence. Recognized nationally for his contributions, he has received numerous accolades, including the American College Personnel Association Diamond Award and the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International James C. Grimm Leadership and Service Award.

Vennie focuses on building high-performance teams across the administrative portfolio, where every employee is empowered to contribute, innovate, and drive meaningful impact.
